Boss KP, Ava and I went down to Podium for lunch a few weeks back and this was the resto of choice: Burgoo.

Segue a bit, blogging about my recent dining experience made me realize 2 points: 1) kain lang yata ako ng kain recently and 2) it’s always, “it was my 2nd time blah blah blah.” I therefore conclude, I’m becoming more adventurous with my choices which I think is a good thing for me.

Back to my blog.

Grilled Pork chops this time. The 1st time was what, half an eon ago with burgers and fries? All I can remember this time around, it was again lunch with no breaks prior to it. The 3 of us ended with Starbucks, Burgoo and Café Breton in one faithful afternoon garnished with laughters and stories on the side.

Ambiance: it was kinda dim where we sat, I still wonder until today, why the effect? Probably because they just opened that day? I doubt it. I like the table and couch set we sat on anyway, so the lights didn’t matter that much. Oh by the way, they have crayons and paper placemats to keep you busy while waiting for the food. Doodle all you want while waiting.
Price: Kind of steep for a lunch plate. Ninoy might not last that far.
Portions: good for sharing
Service: I was amazed that our, then, waiter can write his name upside down while introducing himself to us. Hmmm…. May talent ka kuya.
Taste: We had porkchops and sidings, tacos and seafood linguini. Not bad at all. The pork chops were juicy and tender
Menu: it took us a while to decide which is which so I guess choosing among the available dishes will disorient you which is which since all of ‘em looks good.
