The trio, once again, attacked Mertowalk for lunch. Hehehehe. Boss KP, Ava and I had lunch last week at Brazil Brazil. It was my 1st time; and it was boss’ 1st time too with friends and not with foreign guests.

We had buffet that day, so I didn’t pay attention on what was on the menu (ala carte).

Price: ~ Php 650 for a buffet
Service: the waiter will explain what the yoyo is for and you can start from there on how their service should be rated.
Taste: everything grilled, even fruits! But they have rice, salad, pasta and dessert too. A delectable experience!
Menu: I like the California salad the most, its actually chicken salad with chili.

Oh by the way, the yoyo’s free.

Texas Grill Roadhouse for a Maundy Thursday… why not? Hahahaha. Boss KP, Ava and I headed down to TGR for lunch on a religious holiday. They both had fish while I, marinated chicken.

It was my 2nd time at TGR. The 1st one, probably a year or 2 ago at Bonifacio High Street but we dined outside, so no ambiance factor to rate. This time around, we should be heading for Brazil Brazil but it was closed that day. We were about to eat at Shakey’s but we stumbled upon the “open” sign at El Pueble and viola, a whole new dining experience for the holy day.

Ambiance: Free roasted peanuts by the table top with a lot of Texan attitude for the interior. Very westerny mah friend.
Price: around Php 300 for a lunch plate
Portions: 2 sidings for the main entrée, hmmm not bad at all. But can be small for sharing
Service: I cant really decided if it was brought about the fact that there could be lesser customers that day since it was holiday or they just being really accommodating. Plus they offer an after meal experience survey too.
Taste: grilled and Texan? You would really know that it was barbeque-inspired palate experience.
Menu: we had clam chowder, chicken, fish and shrimp pops. There are other selections too like burgers and pasta but it was lunch time so most of us opted for rice pilaf.
Accessibility/Other Branches: I little know of other branches aside from those that I already mentioned here, El Pueblo Pasig City and Bonifacio High Street.

My last GA with my team last March 1.
Dahil naka-in pa si buntis, Aysa, we had to find a place where we can have early lunch near Shaw.... and we had Chinese at Imperial Treasure.
Then Jerome, Jun dR, Elvin and Aysa waited for me until 4PM then we had some booze at Reyes Barbeque, syempre si Buntis, can not be.

Ito ang araw na nagyaya si Jun dR mag-US kami for vacation... wow parang dyan lang yun ah, 7.50 pesos away... pero syempre, pangarap lang yun hahahaha... Siguro in a few years or so.

I'll definitely miss my team.
