Today was about Manila Oceanpark and having lunch at Binondo.

I've been wanting to go to Oceanpark since March but didn't get the chance to do so.  (so again, sorry na Mog).  And today was THE day to go.

I was hesitant to go at 1st thinking that it might be closed, but nonetheless, go na ito!  I asked mano if he can come along and he said yes.  I felt like a child again, amazed by the array of colors God gave these creatures with.

At some point today at the park, I get annoyed by children who hug the aquarium like crazy; with their puny faces flat against the glass to get a good glimpse of what's inside.  They don't just get in the way of the camera but I want to be in their places instead. LOL (ang laki kong bully).  But of course, patience IS a virtue so I have to wait for my turn.

Check out the rest of the pix in a separate entry in my multiply.

Time for lunch, so off we go to Binondo.  Eng Bee Tin it is!  Chinese food in China town with Chinese music playing at the background; food that was not just tasty but also a good bargain; it was a terrific way to spend an afternoon.

How to did we manage to get there? Well, a train ride, a couple of jeepneys and some 15 to 20 minute walk.... we got sore feet when we went home.  Well, the price to pay for an afternoon of  memories for keeps.

It's 11:37PM, April 8, and I'm still updating my multiply with some backlogged videos, ratings and pictures on top of today's adventure.

PS
Yesterday was not so exciting actually.  I spent most of my day watching CSI NY, wrapped my notebook with plastic cover, went to SM to pick up some stuff including an electric fan to battle the heat out of our dining area.  I therefore conclude, today was way way WAY better than yesterday.

Who doesn't like Chinese food in Binondo? :)

After our trip to Manila Oceanpark this afternoon with Mikes, we headed down to Ongpin for a late lunch. Actually, we passed by it on our way to the bay when he said it has been decades since his last trip to Binondo. That's how we ended up in Ongpin for late lunch. We had kiampong, liempo and siomai for lunch and some tikoy and hopia to go.

Ambiance: don't expect too much, it's your usual fast food set up but don't forget the Chinese music in the background!
Price: a bang for the buck!
Portions: in single a la carte and in full orders for sharing
Taste: good!
Menu: they have a lot to offer. Ü
